There is no greater image for us than the smile of someone who skis for the first time with the gift of accessibility that our Maine Adaptive community can provide. That is one of the things that bring us back here year after year. Maine Adaptive is about to celebrate their 38th Annual Ski-a-thon fundraiser to support athletes with accessibility issues. We provide equipment, ski passes, transportation, a slope side lodge, and numerous off slope activities such as, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, golf, cycling, pickleball, paddling, rock climbing, road and mountain biking. We also support Veteran’s No Boundaries and Camp No Limits, a camp for kids who have lost limbs. Individuals from all over Maine, New England and beyond benefit from this inspirational organization. And our annual ski-a-thon raises a great deal of the financing needed. At last year’s event, because of sponsors like you, our team, Luke’s Lucky Skiers raised $15,185 as the 4th top team fundraiser, and the Ski A Thon as a whole raised a whopping $305,770! We were all beaming with pride with our successful fundraising efforts and forever grateful to all of you generous sponsors. This year, we are aiming even higher. Luke’s Lucky Skiers plan to do our very best to break the ski a thon team fundraising record and raise $45,000. We’ve got some new faces shredding with us and we believe deep down, that with help from you, our patrons and supporters, from every walk of life, that these are achievable goals! If you can find a way to support Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation, please sponsor us by choosing one of our team members' pages and donating to them PRIOR TO MARCH 21ST. With a Heartfelt Thank-You,
Luke's Lucky Skiers
