Join Kristy and I in supporting Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation through the Ski-A-Thon fundraiser! As special education teachers here in Maine, we see every day how powerful access, opportunity, and inclusive experiences can be for individuals with disabilities. Over the past few years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to volunteer with Maine Adaptive; Skiing, paddling, pickleball, and participating in inspiring programs like Veterans No Boundaries and Camp No Limits. These experiences have shown us, firsthand, just how transformative adaptive recreation can be!
 

Maine Adaptive creates opportunities where people of all ages and abilities can build confidence, discover independence, and experience joy through movement and connection. Every dollar raised supports this mission by providing adaptive equipment, training dedicated volunteers, and offering cost-free lessons to participants who otherwise might not have access.
