After 25 years with Maine Adaptive I am still amazed by the impact that this program has on participants, volunteers and family members every day! The impact truly radiates from program days to people's every day lives and communities.

I could not possibly be happier about the direction that the organization is currently moving in but these moves are going to take the highest level of support that our community can muster!  The end result will be an incredible year around base on a 172 acres at the former Hurricane Island Outward Bound School's Newry campus complete with a huge main building with commercial kitchen, many cabin's, tent platform's, waterfalls and existing and future trails that will allow us to provide recreational opportunities that we never could have imagined previously. This in addition to the statewide programming that we've always offered, the future is bright!
